Started my day off right yesterday with a good healthy breakfast of a one egg + one egg white sausage spinach scramble, Ezekiel cinnamon raisin toast, 1 glass of cran-water (1 nalgene bottle + 4oz 100% cran juice) mixed with 1 T whole psyllium husk and an espresso + hot water with a tad of creamer!
For lunch I stopped by MY FIT FOODS and got a free (thanks to my friend!) salmon cake on bed of asparagus with lemon..SO tasty!
Dinner was another fabulous left over turkey (yes I still have some) spinach salad with craisins and almonds:) I also drank 2 nalgene's full of the cran-water mixture. This is great for weight loss, detoxing, debloating and water is just good for you! (2 nalgene's a day 62 oz is recommended for a healthy body, healthy skin, and nutrients but it is a conscious effort!)
For my last day of field experience (sniff sniff!) I read the kindergartners this little poem about Stars I found on the internet along with the one below, to along with the star ornaments I made them. I formulated this into a lesson about poems, what poems can have in them (rhyming words), and rime sounds (yes the rime part of a word is actually spelled like that!). It went well and was so much fun, we had a conversation about where we see stars at Christmas time, or anytime, and what they mean:) Then I told them they were each stars to me and I will miss them so much! (The back of their stars, which they were so excited to take home and hang on their trees, said "You are a shining star! Love, Miss. Katie 2012". Easy fun, meaningful, cheap and they actually really liked them! Even the boys! haha)
Peace and love everyone:) xoxoxo time to do more studying before class and then workout! (Did you know a 45min -1 hour workout is approximately only 5% of your day...totally doable and worth it for your heath and energy level!!! It's awfully grey outside...)
