So over the weekend on Saturday I had a spinach protein smoothie and this delicious sandwich for lunch: sesame Ezekiel bread toasted, cold leftover turkey, hard boiled egg, onions, spinach, mustard, light mayo and a little Lawrey's seasoning salt. mmm:)
For dinner I was babysitting so they had Parmesan chicken-could've been worse-preprepared fom Fred Meyer, it was actually really good and easy!
SUNDAY I had 2 eggs and a couple pieces of homemade sausage with cinnamon raisin Ezekiel bread toast for breakfast, a hard boiled egg and trail mix for a snack while I was doing homework and forgot to make lunch so then I had apples with cinnamon (really good for you by the way!). For dinner I had this really special thing in the picture: Chicken Pesto Zuchinni Noodles from MY FIT FOODS! This is a new thing (well I just found out about it) in Boise and i love it! All natural, pre-prepared, organic lean foods at convenient locations. All I had to do was warm it up! Check it out, it is worth looking into if there is a place near you...I know someone who did their 21 day challenge and lost 24 pounds! WOW! Other than that it is just a healthy convenient food if you're on the go. Also the meals and snacks are just great ideas for stuff you can prepare at home if you have time:) This is just pesto, chicken, cherry tomatoes, and zuchinni noodles (allow to dry after grating over night because they're watery.)
I needed some sort of little snack/dessert and decided to make a single serving protein ball! (minus the ball part haha) just a little oats, spoonful of almond butter, drizzle of agave nectar, white chocolate chips and ground flaxseed:) perfect little sweet snack! Totally could have put in fridge for a minute and formed into a ball.
On top of all this I have worked out (cardio+arms lots of arms on sunday+abs) everyday (Sat, Sun, Mon) Woohoo! I feel so energized for this week! I will post a little something from my last day in my field experience classroom and what I ate today, tomorrow. Peace and love! Are you still giving thanks? I am, so important to hang on to this during finals and projects!!!! xoxo
